ITINERARY
DAY 01 : ARRIVE NJP STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT -
KALIMPONG
On arrival at NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport you will meet
by our office representative who will assist you to board
your vehicle to Kalimpong (75 KM / 3 hrs). Overnight stay
at Kalimpong.
DAY 02 : DRIVE KALIMPONG - GANGTOK
Breakfast, proceed to visit Dello Hills, Dr. Graham’s
Home, Flower Nurseries, Durbin Dara Hills & Jang-Dong-Palriffo
Brang monastery. Afternoon drive to Gangtok (85 KM/ 3 hrs).
Overnight stay in Gangtok .
DAY 03 : GANGTOK TOUR
Breakfast & leave for half day sightseeing covering
Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology,
Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show. Overnight
stay in Gangtok.
DAY 04 : GANGTOK TOUR
Breakfast & leave for day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake
(departure in the morning) - situated at a height of 3,780
M. with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake
is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return
back and overnight stay in Gangtok.
DAY 05: DRIVE GANGTOK - DARJEELING
Breakfast & drive to Darjeeling ( 115 KM / 4 hrs ).
Arrive Darjeeling and check into hotel. Overnight stay in
Darjeeling.
DAY 06 : DARJEELING TOUR
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 AM) to view
sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather).
On the wayback visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Afternoon
go for a half-day sight seeing of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan
Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
(Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu
Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate.
Return to hotel & overnight
in Darjeeling .
DAY 07 : DARJEELING TOUR
Breakfast & leave for day excursion trip to Mirik Lake
(50 KM/ 2 hrs). Full day visit around Mirik lake and enjoy
the activities- boating, horse riding etc. ( optional on
direct payment basis). Return to Darjeeling and overnight
at hotel.
DAY 08 : DRIVE DARJEELING - NJP STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT
Breakfast & timely check out from the hotel and transfer
to NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport (100 KM / 3 hrs) for your
onwards destination. |
