ITINERARY
DAY 01 : ARRIVE NJP RAILWAY / IXB AIRPORT - GANGTOK
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, you will
be met by our office representative who will assist you
to board your vehicle to Gangtok (130 KM / 4 hrs). Arrive
Gangtok & check into hotel. Over night stay at hotel.
DAY 02 : GANGTOK TOUR
Breakfast & proceed for a morning’s excursion
trip to Tsomgo lake situated at a height of 3,780 m. with
an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is
perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return
to hotel and overnight in Gangtok.
DAY 03 : DRIVE GANGTOK - KALIMPONG
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing covering
Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology,
Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower
Show. Afternoon drive to Kalimpong (85 KM /3hrs). Upon arrival
check into the hotel and overnight in Kalimpong.
DAY 04 : DRIVE KALIMPONG - DARJEELING
After breakfast visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s Home,
Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara
Hills. Afternoon drive to Darjeeling (70 KM / 04 hrs). Overnight
stay in Darjeeling.
DAY 05 : DARJEELING TOUR
Early morning leave for sun rise tour to Tiger Hills (at
around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject
to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia
Loop. Afternoon go for a half-day sight seeing of Padmaja
Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed
on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed
on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Afternoon visit to Rock Garden.
DAY 06 : DRIVE DARJEELING - NJP RAILWAY / IXB AIRPORT
After breakfast, proceed to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport
(100 KM / 03 hrs), for your onward connection. |
