Standing at an altitude of 6,654m, Mera Peak is one of the most popular highest trekking destinations of Nepal. It lies in an adventurous heartland of Khumbu region. Mera peak’s popularity is increasing each year due to extraordinarily scenic mountains. Another outstanding feature of this trek is Hinku valley which is known for its wildest yet beautiful features allowing us to sample a true 'wilderness experience' en route to Mera.
Mera Peak climbing takes the trekkers into full adventurous heartland of the Khumbu region i.e., Gokyo Lake (4,750m), Everest Base Camp (5,357m), Kalapatthar (5545m) and Gokyo Ri (5,357m). Furthermore Island Peak Climbing crosses two important high passes of the Khumbu region i.e. Chola Pass (5,420m) and Kongma La Pass (5,535m). The peak also offers wonderful opportunity to have magnificent close-up views of great Himalayas including five of the world’s highest mountains, i.e., Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt.
