Glimpse of BhutanTour is a road trip around the best of Bhutan.It takes in a circuit beginning and ending in the city of Paro. One of the major highlights of this tour is a visit to the stunning Taktsang Monastery, better known as the tigers nest. This tour takes in all the best sights and culture of Bhutan, it visits some stunning valleys and small villages allowing you to get up close and personal with the friendly and welcoming Bhutanese people and the stunning natural beauty of this country. It’s a short format tour allowing you to get a taste of this amazing country.

DAY 01: ARRIVE PARO
Today you will board a flight to Paro, Bhutan from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Uponarrival in Paro, our Fishtail representative and driver will meet you and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel.Rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 02: PARO SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE PARO-THIMPU
After breakfast, you will proceed for Paro Sightseeing. Firstly you will visit the ruined fortress of DrugyelDzong which still attracts visitors due to its strategic location. The fort defended the Paro valley from the Tibetan invasion from the north during the early 17th century. On a clear weather Mount Chomolhari(7,320m) can be seen towering over the Dzong. Then you will proceed through the beautiful valley to the watch the tower locally known as Ta-Dzong. It was transformed into the National museum in the 1960s by the third King JigmeDorjiWangchuck. The seven storey museum highlights various aspects of Bhutanese culture and history dating back to the 7th century. A short walk downhill takes you to the RinpungDzong which serves as the administrative center and school for monks.  In the late afternoon, you will be driven to Thimpu (54 Km/1 &1/2 hrs), capital of Bhutan. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 03: THIMPU SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE THIMPU-PARO
After breakfast, you will proceed forThimphu sightseeing. Firstly you will visit the Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the late King JigmeDorjiWangchuck. Then you will proceed for an excursion to the 15th century ChangangkhaMonastery and the new DrupthobNunnery Temple. In the evening, you will be driven back to Paro. En-route you will visit the first building built in Bhutan, the SimtokhaDzong. It now houses the Buddhist University. Upon arrival in Paro, rest of the evening is free for leisurely and personal activities. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 04: FLY PARO - KATHMANDU & DEPARTURE
Today you will proceed to ParoInternational Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu and then towards onward destination. ax
