Explore Nepal Tour provides you with the journey like no other. We also experience Nepal’s vibrant cities such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, a dramatic counterpoint to our time in the wilds.
 
The tour takes you to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s most popular National Park offering excellent opportunity to see Royal Bengal Tigers, one horned Rhino, crocodile and thrilling wilderness experience into its deep and thick jungle either through a ride in an elephant’s back or on four wheelers. 
 
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu & Drive Kathmandu – Nagarkot
Day 02: Drive Nagarkot - Pokhara
Day 03: Pokhara Sightseeing/ Fly Pokhara – Kathmandu
Day 04: Drive Kathmandu - Chitwan National Park
Day 05: Fly Chitwan – Kathmandu/ Kathmandu Sightseeing

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU & DRIVE KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our Fishtail representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to Nagarkot (1& ½ hours drive). En-route you will proceed to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which was founded in 889 AD and lies 13 km east of Kathmandu. The old palace square of Bhaktapur contains famous "Fifty-five windows palace". It was the royal palace of Malla kings then. The golden gate in this square is the unique master piece of the Newari art work. This old square is like an open museum of Hindu temples. The other famous sites to explore are the ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju shrine; the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window and the Dattatraya temple. Upon arrival in Nagarkot, you can enjoy the view of sunset over eastern Himalayan ranges. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 02: DRIVE NAGARKOT - POKHARA
In the early morning during sunrise, you can enjoy magnificent view of Himalayas including Mount Everest- the highest mountain, from Nagarkot. After breakfast you will be driven to Pokhara (235KM/ 7 hrs) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River. After checking into the hotel in Pokhara, you can go for evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges including Mount Fishtail. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 03: POKHARA SIGHTSEEING/ FLY POKHARA - KATHMANDU
In the early morning you will proceed for sunrise view at Sarangkot Hill. After breakfast you will proceed for city sightseeing covering Seti gorge, International Mountain Museum, Devi’s fall also known as Patale Chhango, Tibetan refugee camp and Fewa Lake. At the end of the tour you will proceed for 1 hour boat ride on famous Fewa Lake.  Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Pokhara Airport for a flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu and after lunch, you will proceed for local sightseeing tour to Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world and Pashupatinath Temple – sacred Hindu temple. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 04: DRIVE KATHMANDU - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be driven to Chitwan National Park (186 KM /5 hours). On arrival you will check into the resort / jungle camp followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. After lunch you will proceed for jungle safari on Elephant back to see different species of deer, Royal Bengal Tiger, rare one horned rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other small animals. After elephant back safari tour you will proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride in Dungre / Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile -  the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial. You will then visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. In the evening you will observe “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu people. Dinner and overnight in the jungle camp / lodge.
 
DAY 05: FLY CHITWAN – KATHMANDU/ KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
Wake up early in the morning and proceed for jungle activities. Breakfast and transfer to airport for flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will proceed for sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa. Kathmandu Durbar Square is well renowned for its ancient Pagoda style palace, temple of Kumari (living goddess) and many other shrines and artworks. 
 
DAY 06: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, our representative will take you to the Tribhuvan international airport for your flight towards onward destination.
