From a hustling bustling city of Kathmandu to a small town beyond the Himalayas – Jomsom, this trip will never let you down.  Jomsom –a small hill town is situated at the bank of holy Kaliandaki River. The town is very famous for constant view of Mount Niligiri and Tukuche peak.  Marpha valley is ancient Thakali town with many monasteries. Marpha is also very famous for its delicious apples.

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU 
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our Fishtail representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the tour. Evening you will observe Nepalese cultural program followed by dinner.  
 
DAY 02: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
Kathmandu valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning, after breakfast, you will visit renowned and two of the largest Buddhist monastery - Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhanath Stupa. In addition, you will also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. All these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 03: DRIVE KATHMANDU - POKHARA
After breakfast you will be driven to Pokhara (200KM / 6 hrs) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River. After checking into the hotel in Pokhara, you can go evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges including Mount Fishtail. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 04: FLY POKHARA – JOMSOM & JOMSOM SIGHTSEEING
Today in the early morning, you will board a flight to Jomsom (approx. 30 mins) from Pokhara airport. After checking into the hotel in Jomsom, you can go for a walk around the Jomsom village like Kaligandaki Saligram area, Museums etc. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 05: JOMSOM – APPLE VALLEY (MARPHA VILLAGE) - JOMSOM SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, you will proceed for full day local Marpha village sightseeing on a pony/ local jeep.  You will explore Marpha village, monasteries, apple orchard etc. Upon return to Jomsom, rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 06:  FLY JOMSOM - POKHARA & POKHARA SIGHTSEEING
Today you will fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom Airport early in the morning.  Pokhara is a globally renowned tourist destination for its natural beauty. You can spend entire day sightseeing and relaxing. Firstly, you can visit Fewa Lake where you can see the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre if the weather is clear. The lake also houses Barahi Temple located in the middle of the lake. Other interesting destinations would be Devi’s Waterfall, Tibetan Refugee Settlement, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum and Bindabasini Temple. At the end of the tour you will proceed for 1 hour boat ride on famous Fewa Lake. Rest of the day you can explore lake side. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 07: DRIVE POKHARA - NAGARKOT
After breakfast you will be driven Nagarkot via Kathmandu (250 KM/ 7 hrs). En-route you will visit another UNESCO world heritage site, namely, Patan Durbar Square, famous for its art and architecture, temples, monuments etc. Nagarkot is a beautiful hill station in the suburb of Kathmandu from where you can enjoy the view of sunset over eastern Himalayan ranges. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 08: DEPARTURE                                              
In the early morning during sunrise, you can enjoy magnificent view of Himalayas including Mount Everest- the highest mountain, from Nagarkot. If time permits, you can also explore nearby villages. After breakfast, our representative will take you to the Tribhuvan international airport for your flight towards onward destination.
