Heritage and Cultural Nepal Tour takes you through the amalgamation of nature and history touring you at Kathmandu, Dhulikhel and Nagarkot. Kathmandu valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. Dhulikhel is a famous hill-station lying eastwards of Kathmandu and offers a vantage location to view the Himalayan ranges from Cho Oyu in the east to Himalchuli in the west.

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU 
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our Fishtail representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the tour. Evening you will observe Nepalese cultural program followed by dinner.  
 
DAY 02: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
Kathmandu valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning, after breakfast, you will visit renowned and one of the largest Buddhist monastery - Swoyambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After lunch, you will visit Patan Durbar Square. All these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage site. Overnight in Hotel.
 
DAY 03: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING           
After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhnath Stupa (both are protected by UNESCO as world heritage sites). Pashupatinath temple is the oldest and most sacred Hindu temple of the world situated in the bank of Holy Bagmati River. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the biggest and oldest stupa of the world and the area surrounding is also known as little Tibet as the area is highly inhabited by Tibetan refugees and and also houses one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 04: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE TO DHULIKHEL
After breakfast you will proceed to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which was founded in 889 AD and lies 13 km east of Kathmandu.The old palace square of Bhaktapur contains famous "Fifty-five windows palace". It was the royal palace of Malla kings then. The golden gate in this square is the unique master piece of the Newari art work. This old square is like an open museum of Hindu temples. The other famous sites to explore are the ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju shrine; the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window and the Dattatraya temple. Then you will proceed to Dhulikhel (32 KM/ 1 hr). Dhulikhel is situated at an altitude of approximately 1600 meters /5500 ft above sea level. Upon arrival at Dhulikhel, you can enjoy the scenic view of valleys, and sunset over golden Himalayas. Dinner and overnight in resort/ hotel.
 
DAY 05: HIKE TO NAGARKOT                              
In the early morning during sunrise, you can enjoy magnificent view of Himalayas from Dhulikhel. After breakfast, you will hike for 2 & half hours to another beautiful hill station of Nagarkot.  Upon arrival in Nagarkot, you can enjoy the view of sunset over eastern Himalayan ranges. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
 
DAY 06: DEPARTURE          
In the early morning during sunrise, you can enjoy magnificent view of Himalayas including Mount Everest- the highest mountain, from Nagarkot. If time permits, you can also explore nearby villages. After breakfast, our representative will take you to the Tribhuvan international airport for your flight towards onward destination.
