DAY 01
Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
DAY 02
Kathmandu sightseeing.
DAY 03
Kathmandu Sightseeing.
DAY 04
Drive to airport for flight to Paro. Arrive Paro and transfer to hotel. Briefing, dinner and overnight .
DAY 05
Paro sightseeing covering Drukgyal Dzong- the ruined fort, which once defended this valley from the Tibetan invasions . Enjoy the view of Mt. Jhomolhari, (7314 meters, 24000 feet.) Drive back to Satsam chorten (10 min. drive) and begin walk up or with horses to Taktsang view point (5hrs. walk up and return).
Taktsang monastery (ruin) perches 800 meters above the Paro valley, is one of the most venerated pilgrims sites of the Thimphu (60 Km-2hrs) and visit other places as much as can. Overnight in Hotel River View.
DAY 06
After breakfast leave for sightseeing to memorial chorten, National Library, Painting School. After lunch drive to Wangdiphodrang (83kms.) by crossing Dochula pass (3050 meters). From here on a very clear day one can have a superb view of some of the highest peaks of Bhutan like Ganger Puensum, Zongaphugang,Jeje Khang, Masa Khang and Gangcheyta. The road is all down hill and you will notice the change in Vegetation and weather getting warmer as Wangdi is at a much lower elevation. Overnight in Kichu Wangdi Resort.
DAY 07
Drive to Tangsa via Gangtay (150 Kms. approx). Overnight in Norling Guest House.
DAY 08
Drive Tongsa - Bumthang (68 Km.) and on arrivals/seeing of Bumthang valley (including Kurjay Lhakhang Jakar Dzong, Jambe Lhakhang and what ever is possible). Overnight in KarmaTobden Guest House.
DAY 09
Drive back to Wangdi and check into Kichu Wangdi Resort.
DAY 10
Drive to Paro via Thimphu for shopping. Overnight in Kichu Resort.
DAY 11
Transfer to Airport for departure to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and check into the hotel.
DAY 12
Departure transfer to airport for onward journey.
