Annapurna Circuit Trek, renowned for its panoramic views of majestic Himalayas, ranks under world top ten trekking destination trails.  Located in the Annapurna region of Nepal, it is popularly known as Annapurna trek or Thorang La pass trek.  Breath-taking views of great Himalayas such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Manaslu (8163m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Nilgiri (7,041m), Machhapuchhre (6,998m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Lamjung Himal (6,986m), Tukuche Peak (6,920m) and Tilicho Peak (7,134m)are the major attractions of the trek. Round Annapurna trek starts from Khudi near Besi Sahar in Lamjung district of Nepal. The circuit is spanned over the total distance of 332km.
 
The highest point of the Annapurna Circuit Trek is Thorang La pass (5,416m), and has been regarded as the challenging trekking pass of the region. Due to the difficulties countered while crossing the pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter clockwise direction. 
 
Besides Annapurna trek, this package also takes you through white water rafting in gushing Trishuli river and jungle safari activities in Chitwan National Park. The total duration of the trek is 17 days.

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our Fishtail representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the tour. Evening you will observe Nepalese cultural program followed by dinner.  
 
DAY 02: WHITE WATER RAFTING/ DRIVE TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Today after breakfast, you will proceed towards Charaudi: rafting put-in-point (85KM, 2-3 hrs drive) in Trishuli River along the Prithivi Highway. After rafting for 3 hours you will have lunch and then proceed to Chitwan National Park (3hrs drive). In the evening, during your stay at the lodge, you can enjoy “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu villagers. Dinner and overnight in jungle lodge /resort.
 
DAY 03: FULL DAY JUNGLE ACTIVITIES                              
The day starts with nature walk and bird watching tour. After breakfast, you will proceed for jungle safari on Elephant back to see different species of deer, Royal Bengal Tiger, rare one horned rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other small animals. After elephant back safari tour you will proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride in Dungre / Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile -  the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial. You will then visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. Late afternoon village walk will be organized in the nearby Tharu village. Dinner and overnight in jungle lodge /resort.
 
DAY 04: DRIVE CHITWAN – BESI SAHAR (820m)       
Today you will be driven to Besi Sahar, Lamjung district (8 hrs drive) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River. Dinner and overnight in hotel. 
 
DAY 05: TREK TO KHUDI (790m)
From Besi Sahar, you will trek along the trail turning right at the canal on the outskirts of the village and then descend the narrow path to the Pam Khola. Afterwards, we will move ahead towards the village of Denauti where you will get to see rural Nepali life from close quarters. This trail offers variety of loving scenic views of the Marshyangdi Khola (river), paddy fields and subtropical forests. Finally, the trek will end for the day upon reaching Khudi, which is a Gurung (ethnic community) village.
 
DAY 06: TREK TO BAHUNDANDA (1,310m) 
Bahundanda – literally meaning “Brahmins hills”, mostly inhabited by Brahmin community. As you move away from Khudi, you can catch and see the magnificent Annapurna mountain ranges. Besides, this trail offers you variety of interesting places and rural villages. On the way you will be captivated by terraced fields, waterfalls, dense forests and rivers. Finally you will reach Bahundanda, where you will be accommodated.
 
DAY 07: TREK TO JAGAT (1,290m)
Leaving for Jagat, today you will descend towards the river. This route follows the path that consists of lush forest, waterfall, rivers, landscapes, hills and some villages. You can also observe the lifestyle of local people if you want.
 
DAY 08: TREK TO DHARAPANI (1,920m)
Today we will continue walking until we reach the river. Continuing the journey, we will then climb uphill leading to sharp-edged cliff facing the riverbank. En route, Chyamje comes into picture amidst the glorious backdrop of towering Annapurna Himalayan ranges. On treading along a succession of rock-strewn trails, you will descend to a grassy riverbank that leads to Tal and Karte. You will finally reach Dharapani after crossing a suspension bridge. 
 
DAY 09: TREK TO CHAME (2,630m)
Hike from Dharapani to Chame covers a distance that will take about 6 hours to complete. The trail now leads to the west in Manaslu as it forms an amazing backdrop of Annapurna-II which appears occasionally to the south. Upon reaching Chame, you will be accommodated at a local guesthouse.
 
DAY 10: TREK TO PISANG (3,190m) 
Leaving Chame, this day you will follow steep and narrow paths across dense forests. This will indeed be a wonderful experience. During the trail, you will be able to witness majestic views of Manaslu Himal and other Annapurna Himalayan ranges in addition to great views of Dudh Khola (river), Marshyangdi River and forests. Crossing these places, you will reach Pisang, an administrative center of Manang district where electricity, wireless stations, schools, shops, health posts, post office, police check post, hotels, lodges and banks could be found. Another major attraction of Pisang is hot springs. 
 
DAY 11: TREK TO MANANG (3,520m) 
Today you will trek up to Manang – popularly said to be the district outside the Himalayas. You have to follow the upper Pisang and Geru route, from where you can enjoy majestic peaks such as Annapurna and Pisang Peak to name among few along with beautiful landscapes. On the way you can also pay a visit to Barge monastery, which is the largest monastery of the district. 
 
DAY 12: REST DAY IN MANANG (3,520m)
Today you will spend your entire day taking a complete rest for acclimatizing to altitude, contemplating and planning for upcoming trips and getting habituated to your trekking destinations.
 
DAY 13: TREK TO LETDAR (4,250m)
After completing the acclimatization, you will leave Manang. The trail makes an ascent of nearly 2,000m to the Thorung La pass. You will have to climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marsyangdi Valley and Jarsang Khola Valley until you reach Letdar. 
 
DAY 14: TREK TO THORUNG PHEDI (4,500m) 
Leaving Letdar, you will follow the path making a gradual ascent to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi. You will follow a narrow trail across an unstable steep slope and then descend to Thorung Phedi. 
 
DAY 15: TREK ACROSS THORUNG LA (5,416M) TO MUKTINATH (3,800m)
Thorang La, an unforgettable experience, is clearly the climax of Annapurna Circuit Trek. You will be huffing and puffing, and at the same time exulting in the experience of visiting sacred site of Muktinath Temple (Temple of Lord Vishnu). Muktinath is a pilgrimage center for both Hindus and Buddhists. Here, we can see Tibetan traders as well as sadhus from as far as south India. Shrines could be seen erected in a grove of trees including a Buddhists gompa and the Vishnu temple of Jwalamai. The area restricts any hotels and camping sites.
 
DAY 16: TREK TO JOMSOM (2,713m)
As mentioned earlier, Muktinath is one of most important destination for both Hindus and Buddhists pilgrims. In the morning, you will pay a visit to the Muktinath Temple. There is also a Buddhist Monastery nearby. Furthermore, magnificent views of Dhaulagiri Peak can be seen from this place. From Muktinath, we will then continue the trek to Jomsom.
 
DAY 17: FLY/DRIVE TO KATHMANDU VIA POKHARA
After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for the flight to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara Airport, you will either take transfer flight to Kathmandu or will be driven to Kathmandu via tourist vehicle. The entire day in the capital will be free for shopping and relaxation.
 
DAY 18: DEPARTURE
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight towards onward destination. If you want to continue your stay in Nepal for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, etc., please do let us know. We will be proudly serving your needs.
