The tour takes you to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s most popular National Park offering excellent opportunity to see Royal Bengal Tigers, one horned Rhino, crocodile and thrilling wilderness experience into its deep and thick jungle either through a ride in an elephant’s back or on four wheelers.

DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our Fishtail representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the tour. Evening you will observe Nepalese cultural program followed by dinner.  
 
DAY 02: DRIVE KATHMANDU - CHITWAN                                                                                                          
After breakfast, you will be driven to Chitwan National Park (186 KM /5 hours). On arrival you will check into the resort / jungle camp followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. After lunch you can proceed for exploring nearby local villages. Dinner and overnight will be at jungle camp /resort.
 
DAY 03: CHITWAN SAFARI ACTIVITIES        
The day starts with nature walk and bird watching tour. After breakfast, you will proceed for jungle safari on Elephant back to see different species of deer, Royal Bengal Tiger, rare one horned rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other small animals. After elephant back safari tour you will proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride in Dungre / Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile -  the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial. You will then visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. Late afternoon village walk will be organized in the nearby Tharu village. In the evening you will observe “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu people. Dinner and overnight in the jungle camp / lodge.
 
DAY 04: DRIVE CHITWAN - POKHARA                                                
Today you will be driven to Pokhara (151 KM/5 hrs) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River. Upon arrival at Pokhara and after checking into the hotel, you will have lunch and then you will proceed for one hour boat ride in famous Fewa Lake. You will then proceed for city sightseeing covering Seti gorge, International Mountain Museum, Devi’s fall also known as Patale Chhango and Tibetan refugee camp. Dinner and overnight in hotel. 
 
DAY 05: DRIVE POKHARA - PALPA 
After breakfast, you will proceed for Tansen, Palpa (58 KM/ 2-3 hrs). Upon arrival in Palpa, you can explore the medieval town of Tansen and explore the local market. Tansen is famous for its ancient Newari architecture, metal works and Dhaka cloths.  Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 06: PALPA SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE TO LUMBINI
In the early morning, you will proceed  for an excursion to nearby Srinagar hill from where you can enjoy magnificent view of sunrise over western Himalayas. After breakfast you will explore Tansen and then proceed to Lumbini – birthplace of Lord Buddha (76 KM/ 2-3 hrs). Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 07: LUMBINI SIGHTSEEING
As the historical birthplace of Gautama Siddhartha Buddha, Lumbini is one of the most important religious sites in the world. Buddha who later achieved enlightenment under a Bodhi tree, inspiring a global philosophy of peace and reflection, was born under a sal tree in Lumbini in the month of May in 563 BC. After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing tour at Lumbini that includes several monasteries, eternal lamp, historical sites of Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi temple etc. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 08: FLY LUMBINI - KATHMANDU & DRIVE TO DHULIKHEL
After breakfast, you will proceed for Lumbini Airport for a flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will proceed for Dhulikhel (one and half hour drive).  Dhulikhel is an ancient Newari town situated east of Kathmandu.  Finally upon reaching Dhulikhel and checking into the hotel, you can enjoy sunset over beautiful range of Himalayas if the weather is clear. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 09: HIKE TO NAGARKOT 
After breakfast  you will hike towards Nagarkot which approx. takes 6 hours. At an elevation of 2,195 meters, Nagarkot is considered one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District. It is renowned for its sunrise view of the Himalaya including Mount Everest as well as other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 10: DRIVE NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU & KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, you will proceed to Kathmandu (32 Km/ 1 hr).  En-route you will go for an excursion to Bhaktapur Durbar square which was founded in 889 AD and lies 13 km east of Kathmandu. The old palace square of Bhaktapur contains famous "Fifty-five windows palace". It was the royal palace of Malla kings then. The golden gate in this square is the unique master piece of the Newari art work. This old square is like an open museum of Hindu temples. The other famous sites to explore are the ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju shrine; the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window and the Dattatraya temple. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 11: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Bouddhnath Stupa (all of these are protected by UNESCO as world heritage sites). Pashupatinath temple is the oldest and most sacred Hindu temple of the world situated in the bank of Holy Bagmati River. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the biggest and oldest stupa of the world and the area surrounding is also known as little Tibet as the area is highly inhabited by Tibetan refugees and and also houses one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight in hotel.
 
DAY 12: HALF DAY KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING 
After breakfast you will proceed for local city tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Rest of the day is available for leisurely and personal activities like shopping at different super market & departmental stores, etc. You can also explore the tourist hub “Thamel”. Dinner will be arranged in a Nepali restaurant offering Nepali cuisine and cultural dance.
 
DAY 13: DEPART KATHMANDU
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight towards onward destination. If you want to continue your stay in Nepal for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, etc., please do let us know. We will be proudly serving your needs.
