ITINERARY
DAY
1 :
KATHMANDU - BHAIRAHAWA
AM : At 07:00 am. Drive To Lumbini
( 402Km / 9.5 Hrs ) .
PM : Arrival at Bhairawa. Check in
to the Hotel . Rest & Refreshment . Overnight
stay in Bhairahawa.
DAY
2 :
BHAIRAHAWA - LUMBINI - BHAIRAHAWA
AM : Breakfast . Visit to Lumbini
Garden ( 22 km ) , the Mayadevi Temple ( Buddha’s
Mother ) , the Marker Stone Temple (the Birth Place
of Shakyamuni Buddha ) , the Nativity Sculpture, Pushkarni
: the Holy Pond . Proceed toward Gothihawa
(
22km from Lumbini ) , the ancient site for Ashokan
Pillar where Krakuchhanda Buddha was born and attained
nirvana.Visit Tilaurakot (5 km from Gothihawa). The
ancient capital of Shakya Kingdom ( Kapilvastu ).
The ruins & mound of old stupas and monasteries
made of kiln – burnt bricks and clay mortar.
The remains are surrounded by a moat and wall.
PM : Visit Niglihawa (6 km from Tilaurakot
). Niglihawa is the site for the Asokan Pillar and
pond known as Niglisagar where Kanakmuni Buddha was
born ,enlightened. Visit to Arorakot ( 3 km from Niglihawa),
the rectangular fortified area which is believed to
be the natal town of Kanakmuni Buddha .
Drive Back to Bhairawa. Overnight stay in Bhairahawa.
DAY
3 :
BHAIRAHAWA - BUTWAL – RAMGRAM - BHAIRAHAWA
AM : Breakfast . Butwal sightseeing
, Phulbari , Siddhababa , Devdaha
PM : Visit Ramgram and drive back
to hotel. Overnight stay in Bhairahawa.
DAY
4 :
BHAIRAHAWA - KATHMANDU
AM : Breakfast . Drive back to Kathmandu.
